HERRON ACIDOPHILUS PLUS
What is used for?Herron Acidophilus Plus is a potent probiotic supplement. Probiotics (pro – for, bio – life) are live micro-organisms that assist us by improving the balance of the “good bacteria” in the gut to the bad ones (e.g. E.coli).
A regular supply of probiotic bacteria can be successful in achieving / restoring this balance by out-competing the bad bacteria for nutrients, stopping them from adhering to the gut wall, producing inhibitory substances and by creating an environment that they don’t like (i.e. acid).
Throughout history humans have benefited from the inclusion of these organisms/bacteria via cultured dairy products in the diet. Clinical investigation into the health-giving benefits of good bacteria has also lead to the use of more potent, predictable levels in dietary supplements.
The active ingredients in Herron Acidophilus Plus are encapsulated in a special polysaccharide matrix delivery system, which enables bacteria to survive at room temperature and the acid environment of the stomach and effectively colonise the intestines.

Dosage
Adults take one capsule, two to three times a day with food or as professionally directed.
