What is it used for?Vision Enhance is a high potency, antioxidant formula for maintaining eye health.
Lutein & Zeaxanthin are major carotenoids found in body tissue, with their concentration highest in eye tissue. These two carotenoids help defend against free radical damage in the macular region of the retina and lens of the eye.
Lutein is a particularly important antioxidant for eye health, as is Zeaxanthin. Their presence in the macula needs to be constantly replenished. In foods, they tend to be found together, particularly in dark green, leafy vegetables including spinach, silver beet and turnip greens. Corn and eggs are also good sources of the two.
Lutein & Zeaxanthin are also found together in one convenient and economical formulation: Vision Enhance, which helps to provide macular protection and enhance macular pigment and visual function.
